How To Have A Gay Relationship

Post No 1

So after giving up my friends, family, school, a flat and fabulous collection of computer porn, I moved to the other side of the world.

Two weeks later I met the most amazing guy. Hot, handsome and funny, three months and we moved in together, another three and we were engaged…to be civil partnered, but for the benefit of myself and the annoyance of others, I’ll call it marriage.

After a year of what in hindsight can only be called unadulterated bliss, I find myself back in the old country, and all the problems which I cleverly ran away from, are all still right here, ploughing through emotions as normal.

Why did I leave my life of meaningless tranquillity and meaningful sex? Well my visa expired and over there they enjoy locking up illegal immigrants. Plus I really wanted to go to University; because its free and I want to be in the gay elite when I’m older, naturally.

So the fiancé is living it up until December 28th, he has courses to finish and ends to tie and etcetera etcetera. Which leaves me ten thousand miles away, typing in the middle of the night while right about now the sun is bursting in through his window, gently waking him and shining its daylight onto a marvellous upper body. Ah such is life, such is love. I just hope both will last these next four months.
